Day 4.5 evening pizza and eating habits

Damon is still not eating his dog food even though I changed it. Tonight we had pizza and he was sitting on the floor near the dining room table waiting…watching…for you to turn your back. My husband was giving him pizza crust and I was mad that he was feeding him while at the table, this can start some really bad habits quick. So he started to put the crust in his food dish, much better. Damon would eat out of his bowl and then come and sit again near the table and watch. Every time I would turn away from my plate, Damon would try and move forward, to take the pizza off of my plate. He would get caught and pretend to look around at anything other than you or your food, but you would catch him darting his eyes to the plate again. He really is a smart clown. Since he was not eating his food still…daddy took some sardine oil and put it on his dog food to try and entice him to eat it. Damon would suck off the oil and spit the dog food out. He has a vet appointment in the morning and we will see what else we can do.
